:) CITIES : ISTANBUL, TURKEY
Hamdi Restaurant. Great restaurant with awesome views of the Golden Horn and the Galata Bridge. Try to get a table on the top floor balcony. www.hamdirestorant.com
Between the Modern and Karakoy (where the cruise ships dock) and next to the Nusretiye Mosque you can find a block full of the Tophane Nargile cafes where you can play backgammon and use a nargile.
Beymen Brasserie (across from Hugo Boss) at the epicenter of Nisantasi is a great spot to see all the action in this great neighbourhood.
Istanbul Modern Art Museum. Here's a great 'two-fer'. Museum and café on the Bosphorous: www.istanbulmodern.org

Busy and very safe to walk around even late at night
360 Restaurant - On Istiklal Street and it's a must to go have a drink and
maybe dinner but it may be a bit $$. The views are breathtaking.

food, coffee, wine & good people watching.
Spice Bazaar in Eminonu - Easy to get to from the underground. Just get
off on Eminonu and a 2 minute walk. There are signs pointing you to the
Spice Bazaar.

Ugur sells great jewelry and has rugs downstairs but the jewelry is
fabulous.
