:) CITIES : NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND
From our Global Explorer and Social SWAT Team Founding Member, Keri M.
Everybody should check out the mansions and do the Cliff Walk.
Also worth visiting is the International Tennis Hall of Fame: www.tennisfame.com
Breakfast/Brunch
Arrival brunch at Castle Hill Inn or sunset drinks on the lawn (if a nice day).
Stunning location on the water. It's away from town but you can take a drive on
Ocean Drive and end up here.

Corner Café on Broadway is a great local breakfast place - expect a bit of a wait.
Belle's Café at Newport Shipyard. Best hidden gem - for breakfast. It's a working
boat yard and awesome view with picnic tables (again - only in nice weather!). Off
the beaten path in the Point section. Place where all the boat crews go to
breakfast.

Lunch
Mooring - only if it's a nice day - you can eat on the deck outside.

Black Pearl - this place is a Newport institution. Good chowder and cozy "inside of
a boat" feel so good on a rainy day. They also have an outdoor patio if nice day.

Dinner
Fluke Wine Bar and Kitchen. It's very good and their executive chef is outstanding.

Tallulah on Thames. Fresh and local.

Bouchard. With a name like that, you guessed it: French. The dessert soufflé is awesome!! Quiet romantic dinner place.

Clarke Cooke House. They have a nice bar scene and a crazy little night club downstairs called The Boom Boom room.

Perro Salado. For casual dinner - a tiny bit off the beaten path but not too far -
still walkable to the wharfs. It's an old house renovated into a funky Mexican
place. They also do a good brunch.
